I, Too, Sing America is a theatrical concert celebrating works of poets of color, featuring Langston Hughes, Frances Chung, Vince Gotera, and more set to original music and choreography.
Originally produced by SFBATCO in 2018, I, Too, Sing America was named Theatre Bay Area’s Outstanding Musical of 2019, also awarded Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Choreography. I, Too, Sing America is a soulful symphony that celebrates the diversity of BIPOC American life through music, dance, and the poetry of great authors.
