Jaliana Semien

Jaliana, a UC Santa Barbara graduate with a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.A. in Sociology, has impacted dance studios locally and internationally. Trained by mentors like Elvia Marta, Andrea Hinman, and Gregory Dawson at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, she advanced her career in Europe with the UCSB Senior Dance Company under Delila Moseley. An award-winning choreographer, Jaliana now teaches modern dance and choreography and serves as Assistant Director at Dare Dance Collective’s new studio, blending her rich dance and sociology background with her passion for innovation and inspiration.
