Ahja Henry

Ahja Henry is a San Francisco native interdisciplinary artist and dancer. She has been dancing for 14 years, with a background in ballet, contemporary, and jazz. While completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology at UC Riverside, she expanded her repertoire with West African and Hip Hop dance which shifted her viewpoint towards what dance can be. She now trains in a variety of dance styles and joins every performing opportunity she can. She is immensely grateful to be a part of the SFBATCO family and excited to perform in a show that celebrates the artistry and diversity of BIPOC.
