Jeremy Brooks

Jeremy Brooks is a multi-disciplinary artist and resident of Deep East Oakland. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Social Welfare and Minors in Dance Performance Studies and Public Policy. He is a dance and singing artist in PUSH Dance Company based in San Francisco. His movement background includes African Dance, Modern, Capoeira, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. His early years performing began with Dance A Vision, directed by Carla Service. He expanded his artistry via The Berkeley Dance Project, the Alliance for California Traditional Arts Apprenticeship, the Hip Hop Artist Resident in Training Program, and the Malcolm X Jazz Festival.
