Live with Rod & Marce: LIVE & IN PERSON!

The TBA award-winning company SFBATCO is opening up to in person audiences for the first time in over a year. Live with Rod and Marce: Live and In Person, a virtual variety hour that carried SFBATCO through a global lock down, will now invite a limited studio audience to watch the full live stream production in person!

With its season of programming postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis, co-Founders and Artistic Directors Rodney Earl Jackson Jr. and Marcelo Javier were committed to giving audiences safe entertainment that addressed the complex social moment. They created Live with Rod and Marce to bring work by diverse artists in the Bay to audiences sheltered safely at home. Led by co-Founders “Rod and Marce” the show streams live on TWITCH and features Classic R&B and Latin ballads, alongside Jazz and Golden Age Musical standards. Live with Rod and Marce: Live and In Person will feature the Bay Area’s own Jon Gallo as music director. Angela Travino, Katrina Lauren McGraw, and Alex Akin will share the stage with co-Founders Rodney Earl Jackson Jr. and Marcelo Javier. Claudio Andres Silva Restrepo will serve as technical director. The show will take place at The Brava Theater Center for Women in The Arts.

The health and safety of our patrons, musicians, staff, and volunteers is our top priority. Beginning June 11, 2021, we will be hosting limited small audiences for live performances inside the Brava Theater Center. Audiences for the initial performance on June 11 will comprise up to 164 people. Capacity for future performances may be expanded in consultation with the City and County of San Francisco.

Advance reservations/ticket sales and assigned seating is required. Only vaccinated persons may attend as patrons at this time.

SFBATCO has undertaken appropriate modifications to comply with current health and safety protocols provided by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. These measures include requiring proof of vaccination, mandatory face covering that completely covers nose and mouth, secured with ear loops or head strap (gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable), increased cleaning before performances, and a no-touch or low-touch experience. We recognize that, even with safety measures, some patrons may not feel comfortable attending in person and we are committed to bringing the arts to you, wherever you are. Join us from home by tuning in LIVE from home on at TWITCH.TV/SFBATCO.
