Danny Duncan, a native of San Francisco’s Fillmore District, is a celebrated director, choreographer, and composer who created acclaimed works such as Uhuruh; Billie’s Song; and Go Down Garvey. A lifelong educator, he helped found SFArtsED’s musical theatre company—the Players—in 2002, where he continues to direct annual productions, and has worked with hundreds, if not thousands, of young performers.

Michael Gene Sullivan is an Actor/Writer/Director/ based in San Francisco. He has been awarded both a Guggenheim Fellowship and Djerassi Arts Center Fellowship as a dramatist, the international Prize of Hope Award, the Charles Dean Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting and Dedication to Bay Area Theatre, and is an alum of the Playwrights Foundation. He is also Resident Playwright for the Tony and OBIE award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe.

AeJay Antonis Marquis, originally from Louisiana, is an Oakland-based director, choreographer, and scholar. Their most recent work included the critically-acclaimed Magnolia Ballet and Choir Boy at Shotgun Players, have directed and Choreographed musicals throughout the Bay Area including Footloose, Little Shop of Horrors (for which they received a Kennedy Center recognition for Best Direction), Sister Act, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert (for which they received a nomination for Best Choreography of a Musical at SFBATCC.) Immersed in New Work development, they are thrilled to bring this new musical to Bay Area audiences.

Othello Jefferson is a native of San Francisco. He received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a single subject music credential from San Francisco State University. At Sequoia High School, in Redwood City, CA, he serves as Piano Instructor, Chorus and Orchestra Director. He also serves as Minister of Music at First African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in San Francisco. He is the recipient of awards from San Francisco’s Academy of Gospel and the Friends of Negro Spirituals, Oakland and has completed the first level of the American Guild of Organist’s examinations for professional certification (Service Playing Certificate). He is also the featured singer on the African American Composers Initiative‘s (AACI) recent CD entitled Good News.

Noah Bossert is a performer hailing from Oshkosh, WI, where he learned first to both entertain attendees of the corner bar, and the corner church. Current projects that Noah is a part of include the band Ruby Day & The Knights, his debut EP Nitschke which is set to be released in 2027. He works as an active MD at musical theater companies around the Bay Area (SFArts Education Project, SFBATCO, Throckmorton 145 Theater), while teaching Vocal Music at San Francisco University High School.

Ada is a San Francisco native and proud to make her SFBATCO debut. Previous stage management credits include M. Butterfly, Noises Off, Exotic Deadly: the MSG Play, The Play That Goes Wrong, and My Home on the Moon (San Francisco Playhouse) and The Speakeasy (Boxcar Theater). "In loving memory of Kuya Keith."

Ka'Nayah is an up-and-coming Stage Manager in the Bay Area who recently graduated from St.Mary's college of California. Go Gaels! She has spent these first few years in post-grad working and learning from many different theaters including Oakland Theater Project, Berkeley Playhouse, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, American Conservatory Theater, Shotgun Players, and now SFBATCO. This is also the second professional show she has been apart of with her mentor, Aejay Mitchell who has seen and helped her grow since she was 13! Please enjoy this phenomenal piece of art.
